style=\"text-align: left\">Take the Middle East &#8211; their absolutely favorite dish is Hummus -which is made from chickpeas.\u00a0Hummus is arabic and means chickpeas.\u00a0Chickpeas are healthy, rich in fibre and very filling.\u00a0Syria, Israel, palestine, lebanon, however, where does it originally come from?\u00a0They still are disputing on this point.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: is only one part of arabic mezzes &#8211; the typical arabic starters.\u00a0A favorite starter, which is served together with\u00a0fatoush, baba ganoush, taboule and falafel.\u00a0What\u00b4s better left\">I prefer to soak and cook the dried chickpeas,\u00a0as the hummus gets more nutty and creamy, so yummy.\u00a0You can use the canned chickpeas, the paste will have a hint of sourness,\u00a0but bicarbonate<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">2 tsp tahina (Sesamepaste)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Juice of two freshly squeezed lemons<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">4 cloves of garlic<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">2 tbsp cumin<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">1 dried chili<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">1 tbsp curry<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">1 tbsp salt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">3 ice cubes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>PREPARATION HUMMUS\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Soak dried chickpeas overnight (at least 12 hours) in a large bowl of cold water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. The next day, drain and rinse the chickpeas.<\/p>\n<p>Place them in a pot with fresh water, a little salt, and another teaspoon of baking soda. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer and cook for about an hour until soft. Drain the chickpeas and let them cool to room temperature.<\/p>\n<p>In a food processor, blend the chickpeas with tahini, garlic, lemon juice, and any other ingredients, except the ice cubes. While blending, slowly add the ice cubes. If needed, add a little water until you get a smooth and creamy texture.<\/p>\n<p>Serve in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds on top.
