style=\"line-height: 1.73\">In my homeland Iran <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">we use to pop the squash seed in our mouth, <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">we crack the salty outer shell between our teeth, <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">now crack carefully bit by bit backwards. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">seperate the inner seed from the shell <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">use your tongue and your teeth to pull them apart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\"> Crack! <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">Mmmmmh! <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">The salty taste on my lips and the nutty flavour <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">remember me of my childhood. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">When we were going to the cinema in Teheran, <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">we took all kinds of seeds with us. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">The sunflower seeds were the favourite ones, <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">secondly the squash seeds. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">Imagine one hundred people sitting in the cinema <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">and cracking the nuts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">This was a special crack concert. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">The best is yet to come. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">At the end of the film we walked on a <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">carpet of sunflower- and squash seed shells. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">This feeling under my feet and the cracking of the shells <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.73\">were all part of the fun. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/labsalliebe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/K\u00fcrbis.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter height=\"811\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">After our wonderful walk in Odenwald<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">we continued our tour to Einhausen<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">to the Einh\u00e4user Pumpkin farm of the W\u00fcrsching family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Our little one had to make a decision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">That\u00b4s not easy when you have a choice of 150 different sorts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Which one of those wonderful pumpkins shall I take for Halloween?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">He picked out this one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/labsalliebe.com\/blog\/zu-besuch-bei-einhaeuser-kuerbisse-der-familie-wuersching\/\">Pumpkin Farm<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Now we can start preparing the roasted squash seeds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">He had a lot of fun digging with his hand<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">into the squash reaching for the slimy seeds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a style=\"line-height: 1.73\" href=\"https:\/\/labsalliebe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/K\u00fcrbis-entkernen.jpg\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-83 aligncenter\" center\"><strong>INGRIDIENTS ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">seeds from 1 squash<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">1 Tablespoon sea salt<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>PREPARATION ROASTED PUMPKIN SEEDS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">cook the squash seeds in a pot of water with 1 teaspoon salt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Bring it to boil and reduce the heat to simmer for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Preheat the oven on 400 Fahrenheit\/200\u00b0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Drain the seeds in a colander and dry lightly with a tea towel<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Spread seeds onto a baking sheet and<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">add a generous sprinkle of sea salt,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">roast seeds for \u00a0at 200\u00b0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">for about 10 &#8211; 15 minutes until golden brown<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Keep your eye on it &#8211; Roast the seeds without burning them<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">When golden brown remove from oven<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">and let them cool out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">If you prefer sweet roasted squash seeds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">look here<\/p>\n<p whole, along with the shells.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">I prefer the small squash seeds<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">as they taste better, than the bigger pumpkin seeds,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">they taste like straw.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Ugh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Crack, Crack, Crack.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a
