Tomato salad with a sweet fruity pomegranate dressing is not only refreshing, but it is also prepared in a snap and is even vegan
Cut the onion into rings, add salt, and knead well.
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Also, halve the vine tomatoes, then cut them into slices. Place them in a bowl or a dish.
Grate one tomato on a grater and place it in a bowl.
Mix well with pomegranate syrup, olive oil, salt, and sumac, and pour over the salad.
Mix everything well, place onions on top, and serve with bread.
Top the salad with pomegranate seeds.
Serve with Persian Barbari bread – Persian flatbread, Nan-e Taftoon – Persian Nan bread from the pan or Lavash bread, and a good glass of Chardonnay or Rivaner wine.
