  • 125 g flour type 405
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • 2 eggs L

PREPARATION OF COTTAGE CHEESE BREAD WITH TURMERIC

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cottage cheese and eggs until the mixture is smooth. You can also use a hand blender for this.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, turmeric, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the cottage cheese mixture, stirring well until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for about 45 to 50 minutes until the top is golden brown..

  7. After 20 minutes, you can use a baker’s knife to score patterns on the top (optional).

  8. At 45 minutes, check the bread with a toothpick or skewer—if it comes out clean, your bread is done. If not, bake for another 5 minutes, keeping an eye on it.

  9. Once done, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
