Ingredients

  • 200 g fresh Iranian dates
  • 3 tsp orange blossom water
  • 150 ml water
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

PREPARATION DATE SPREAD

  1. Remove the pits from the dates, cut them in half, and put them in a pot.

  2. Add honey, orange blossom water, cinnamon, and 150 ml of water.

  3. Cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the dates become soft.
  4. Use a blender to puree the mixture. If the spread is too thick, add a little more water. If it’s too thin, add a few more dates.
