Ingredients

INGREDIENTS FOR WATERMELON AND FETA SKEWERS

  • ¼ watermelon
  • 1 cucumber
  • 300 g (10 oz) feta cheese
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Wooden skewers or cocktail sticks

OPTIONAL LEMON DRESSING

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice of
  • Salt
  • black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

HOW TO MAKE PERSIAN WATERMELON FETA SKEWERS

  1. Cut the watermelon, feta cheese, and cucumber into evenly sized cubes.

  2. Wash and dry the mint leaves.
  3. Thread one cube of watermelon onto each skewer.
  4. Add one cube of feta.
  5. Finish with one cube of cucumber.
  6. Place a fresh mint leaf on top and secure everything with the skewer.

DRESSING

  1. If using the dressing, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper, then lightly drizzle it over the skewers just before serving.
  2. Keep refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
