Ingredients

SAFFRON-CINNAMON TEA INGREDIENTS

  • 10 Saffron threads
  • 2 Small pieces of a cinnamon stick
  • 2 Dried rose buds optional
  • Hot water
  • 1 Saffron rock candy stick Nabat

Instructions

PREPARATION – SAFFRON-CINNAMON TEA

Step 1: Prepare the Saffron Essence

  1. First, grind the saffron threads into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle.

  2. Pour about 20 ml of hot (but no longer boiling) water over the powder. Let this essence rest for a moment until it turns a deep, vibrant golden color.

Step 2: Combine the Aromas

  1. Take one dried rose bud and gently crumble it with your hands directly into the strainer of your teapot.

  2. Add the cinnamon stick pieces.

  3. Now, pour your prepared saffron essence over the rose petals and cinnamon in the strainer.

Step 3: Brew & Be Patient

  1. Fill the teapot with boiling water.

  2. To allow the essential oils and the mood-lifting properties to fully unfold, let the tea steep, covered, for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 4: Enjoy

  1. Pour the finished tea into a beautiful glass.

  2. For a lovely look and a delicate scent, place another small rose bud on top as a garnish.

  3. My Tip: If you want to enjoy it the traditional Persian way, stir your tea with one of the Saffron Rock Candy sticks from your giveaway set. It adds a sophisticated sweetness and an extra touch of saffron aroma!
