The preparation is quite simple, because all the ingredients are layered in a pan.
Finely grate 1 onion on a grater and squeeze the liquid in a sieve.
Add the grated onion and spices to the minced meat and mix well.
Form meat balls either by hand or with a hamburger press.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Set aside.
Slice the tomatoes as well. Set aside

Pour some oil in a pan, first put the potatoes on it, then the onions, now come the minced meat and finish with the tomatoes.
Dissolve the tomato paste with 250 ml of hot water, season with paprika, turmeric, salt and pepper and pour over the ingredients.
Now cover the pan and cook for about 35 -40 minutes at medium temperature until well cooked.
Serve with sumac, Persian polo rice or Nan-e Lavash.
