Kabab Digi – One Pan Kebab

Zutaten

INGREDIENTS FOR THE MINCED MEAT

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion grated
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • salt, pepper 

OTHER INGREDIENTS FOR THE PAN 

  • 3 potatoes sliced
  • 3 onions sliced
  • 3 tomatoes sliced

INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 250 ml hot water 
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric 
  • salt, pepper

Anleitungen

PREPARATION MINCED MEAT 

  1. Finely grate 1 onion on a grater and squeeze the liquid in a sieve.

  2. Add the grated onion and spices to the minced meat and mix well.

  3. Form meat balls either by hand or with a hamburger press.

PREPARATION OF OTHER INGREDIENTS 

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices. Set aside.

  2. Slice the tomatoes as well. Set aside

  3. Slice the onions as well. Set aside

PREPARATION KABAB DIGI

  1. Pour some oil in a pan, first put the potatoes on it, then the onions, now come the minced meat and finish with the tomatoes.

PREPARATION TOMATO SAUCE 

  1. Dissolve the tomato paste with 250 ml of hot water, season with paprika, turmeric, salt and pepper and pour over the ingredients.

  2. Now cover the pan and cook for about 35 -40 minutes at medium temperature until well cooked.

Serve with sumac, Persian polo rice or Nan-e Lavash.
