Vegetarian patties are a delicious option to meat patties and taste great both hot and cold.
Rinse red lentils well in a colander and bring to a boil in a pot of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes till they are al dente. Drain in a colander and let cool a bit.
In the meantime, peel the carrot and grate roughly on a grater.
Grate the onion roughly on the grater as well.
Wash and spin the flat-leaf parsley and chop finely.
Peel the garlic and press through a squeezer.
Put all ingredients including spices in a bowl and knead well by hand or with a mixer.
Form into patties and fry in a bit of fat on both sides for about 10 minutes at medium temperature.
Serve with fresh Greek salad.
