Hot Chilli Frankfurter beef sausage is perfect for this since it’s already got some kick.
Peel and halve the onion, then cut it into thin strips.
Fry the onion in a little oil over medium heat.
Once they turn golden, sprinkle with turmeric and paprika, giving them a quick turn.
Slice the chilli beef Frankfurter sausages diagonally and toss them in with the onions.
Fry the sausages until they’re browned on all sides.
Next, add some tomato paste and cook it until that rich tomato aroma fills the air.
Pour 1 – 2 glasses of water and let it all simmer simmer for approx. 10 – 15 minutes.
Finish with a dash of curry, salt, and pepper to taste, although the sausages are already packing some spice, so go easy on the seasoning if you like!
Serve it either straight up or stuffed into a sandwich with plenty of hot sauce, crispy lettuce, juicy tomato slices, fresh herbs (I’m all about parsley), and some salty cucumber. Trust me, it’s a flavor bomb!
