Oriental spices and fresh herbs are the “secret” ingredients, and the Kuku is quick to prepare and super healthy. In Iran, we bake Kuku with a lot of fat in a pan. Let’s start pickling today! I came across this incredibly delicious Piccalilli – English Mustard Pickle as I visited London. So I want to share the recipe with you, as the pickling is simple to prepare and super healthy. I made the British version, which originates from India. You need fresh vegetables like cauliflower, diced zucchini, red bell pepper, carrot, and onion to prepare it. Their delicious taste comes from a broth of apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, mustard seeds, mustard powder, turmeric, coriander, sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Piccalilli has a mild spiciness, a nice crunchy texture, an intense yellow color, and is bound creamy. Simply delicious!

Have you ever stuffed tomatoes? It’s about time. My Dolmeh Godje Faranghi – Persian style stuffed tomatoes دلمه گوجه فرنگی are light, healthy and vegan. I harvest the tomatoes for this recipe from my garden. There are still some hanging on the bush, but I believe that’s the end of the tomato harvest for this year. Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop them out. Fill them with rice and herbs such as cilantro, parsley, mint, and season with turmeric. Place the cap on top and put it in the baking dish, cover with a lemony tomato sauce and bake in the oven. Now you only have to wait. Baking in the oven makes the tomatoes very aromatic, sweet, and with the lemony sauce, a taste explosion in your mouth.

Salam and Hi, today I’m going to show you a great dish from Isfahan, one of the most beautiful cities in Persia. Kabab-e Zardak -Glazed Meatballs in Grape Syrup کباب زردک is one of the many delicious dishes from Isfahan. It is also called Shami Esfahan or Kabab-e Mooshti, which means shaped in hand. Zardak the yellow carrots that are delicious vegetables hiding in the minced meat. Zardak tastes less sweet and is perfect as an ingredient in my meatballs, of course you can also use normal carrots for this recipe. I’m addicted to these juicy and sweet and sour meatballs. They soak up the mouthwatering sauce made from my homemade sugar free grape syrup and red wine vinegar, giving them a perfect flavor of sweet, sour, and spicy. They are easy to prepare and fingerlicking delicious.
