Tasting Campania – From Naples to Paestum on the Mediterranean Diet Trail

Tasting Campania – From Naples to Paestum on the Mediterranean Diet Trail

*Press Trip Through Campania with *I Love Fruit & Veg from Europe* Naples, the capital of Campania at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, is a melting pot of cultures, vibrant, noisy, and full of passion, much like my hometown Tehran. And its culinary tradition? Absolutely legendary. Neapolitan pizza, fresh pasta, juicy seafood, sun-ripened vegetables, and arguably the best mozzarella in the world. Here, tomatoes shine brighter, basil smells richer, pizza is lighter, and the seafood tastes of the sea. Everything feels a little more authentic, more sensual, more full of life. Join me on my week-long culinary journey Tasting Campania – From Naples to Paestum on the Mediterranean Diet Trail. You can expect plenty of insider tips, restaurant and hotel recommendations, cultural gems, and of course the dishes that make Campania so special. Fresh and full of flavor – this is the real taste of Southern Italy. Pronti? Andiamo! Watch my Reel on Instagram

Cider goes Michelin at Daheim bei den Drei Steubern

*Michelin Press Dinner at Daheim bei den Drei Steubern* What happens when a traditional Frankfurt tavern with deep apple wine roots reaches for the stars? You get an evening full of surprises, incredible flavors, and plenty of “Stöffche” (apple wine), but in a way you’ve never experienced before. Normally, you drink your apple wine from a classic ribbed glass with a side of rustic hospitality. But on June 11th, a new breeze blew through the district of Sachsenhausen. Under the motto “Cider goes Michelin at Daheim bei den Drei Steubern,” the team proved that Hessen’s cult drink can easily compete with the finest wines. This exclusive evening was part of the “Sterne über Frankfurt” (Stars over Frankfurt) event series. The goal? To marry regional tradition with the sophistication of Michelin-star-level dining. Spoiler alert: It worked perfectly!

Haggis Scotch Eggs and with Barefoot Wine to London

Haggis Scotch Eggs and with Barefoot Wine to London

*In cooperation with Barefoot Wine* Today I take you with my recipe Haggis Scotch Eggs and with Barefoot Wine to London. Haggis Scotch Eggs was the starter at 67 Pall Mall, and I liked it so much that I had to prepare it myself. The recipe for the Piccalilli, an Indian pickle, is also coming soon. Haggis Scotch Eggs are soft-boiled eggs surrounded by a layer of haggis and a crispy coating of panko and breadcrumbs. When you cut them, the egg yolk runs all over the plate, so mouth-watering. Haggis is the national dish of Scotland and consists of various offal of sheep, which are chopped finely and formed into a sausage. You can buy it ready-made, and the flavor is similar to a liver paste, and you can buy it ready-made. It goes well with the Barefoot Wine Chardonnay, which is delightfully fruity. A perfect combination!

Rhoihessian Cooking duel- Variations of black salsify á la Carl Grünewald

*Ad in cooperation with Rheinhessenwein e.V. and Gourmet Connection* I was so excited as the invitation of Rheinhessenwein and Gourmet Connection for the “Rhoihessian Cooking duel” arrived. Last year I was already invited and unfortunately could not participate. I´m so grateful that I was asked again this year. As the day of the Cooking contest got closer, I became more and more excited. I have never participated in such a cooking battle and this contest will be even filmed. Am I up to it at all, do I manage to cook the dish of a chef without any recipe and even stay within the given time of 90 minutes?
